just a subtle hohum here: leather is leather; leatherette, split leather, shaved leather, vinyl leather, and every other sounds like leather term is not leather. a pile of real cow leather is easily worth 3 times what you spent for your $1000 chair.
buyer beware. but also buyer be realistic. i am sitting in my 16 year old lane leather covered chair. yes the foam is worn the *** out.
that happens folks. :) even when you $1600 each in 2001. foam degrades. its just how it is.
real leather properly cared for will likely last a lifetime. basing that horse and cucle leather and my lane leather with no popped stitching or tears in 16 years. btw... yes i love lane, but get over it...
its cheap assed middle class furniture. made for the working man. its not the 299 walmart special if you buy the higher end pieces... but no, its not an 8k chair either.
mine has raised three dogs and two kids... and the dogs had better manners than the kids... lol i got what i paid for...
decent mid range furniture. enjoy.
