Purchased a recliner made my Lane from a furniture store with a 100 mile round trip in my truck.
Trip 1- Went to store day after New Years and Lane was closed so I couldn't order recliner.
Trip- 2- Ordered recliner and was told its 12-16 week wait.
Trip- 3 Chair came in but they don't deliver outside of their state. I had to pay someone to help me. Chair went to second floor after 100 mile trip.
Less than one month while sitting in chair I tried to place it in reclining position when it abruptly made a loud noise. Under the chair was a pile of sheared bolts, spring, and assorted metal.
Trip 4- return chair. Paid for assist.
Trip 5 - chair was repaired and needed pickup. Again paid someone to assist.
Yesterday more sheared hardware and springs came out. I'm done.
Piece of *** Cheap, crap hardware. Nothing at all good about chair. I will get my money back one way or another. I am nearly 65 years old and cannot carry chairs up and down stairs. I paid big money for Lanes reputation of quality furniture and got ripped off. Another company gone to cheap China material. I do not want a repair. I want my money back.
