Lane Furniture - Bonded leather surface flaking off

After only 3 years noticed the bonded leather surfaces on the headrest, armrest and fronts of seats were degrading. We've purchased Lane furniture for over 40 years and expected better quality. Found the warranty for this problem is 1 year.

LANE FURNITURE IS RUBISH. We bought a couch, love seat and chair, all 3 were peeling very bad within no time.
They are disgusting and were not cheap.
The quality is horrible. DO NOT waste your money on their products.
Ours is peeling as well. We have a 2015 DVR Mobile Suites 5th wheel, and ours started peeling in October of 2018.
Iโve read where people have Paid thousands for their Lane Furniture and is suffering from this thing. Iโm wondering if there is a class action lawsuit going on.
Headrest is cracking and peeling. Very disappointed with our very expensive, very poor quality chair. Will never consider buying Lane again!
Bonded leather is a joke. Itโs literally a polyurethane finish over a blended leather/vinyl backer fabric (minimum 17% leather).
The issue described by all these posters is called โde-bondingโ. Itโs caused by extended use, heat, moisture, or simply age. This only covered for 1 year by any manufacturer, but some retailers may cover it as part of their extended warranty. There is no repair for this issue, only replacement of the affected parts.
Donโt contact Lane, contact your retailer.
Typically they have more pull to get something accomplished. In the future, donโt buy bonded leather, and tell all your friends.
Same issue bonded leather coming off very poor quality .rip off
Bought 3 Lane leather reclining theater chairs in 2016 from theaters eats.com. Leather is peeling off seats and armrests.
Lane's customer service is a joke. Will never buy anything from Lane again.
I also purchased 4 Lane power recliner "leather" chairs for our theatre room, one of the chairs peeling like crazy. Paid close to 4k in 2011 and it looks like *** peeling on the back and head rest portion, worried the other 3 may do the same in time.
Purchased brand new at American furniture in Waukesha, Wi, but they are out of business.
This did not start to happen until one yr ago. No response from Lane at all!
I have the same problem . bonded leather is not leather, Its trash from (china) where (lane) buys the chaires from (china) and rips the AMERICAN PUBLIC off.
We had the same problem with our couch and recliner, after about 3 years. Our other 3 year old cloth covered chair started to structurally fail also.
Tried to contact Lane and they would not even give us a response.
I though Lane was a quality name, lol, never ever again. Stay away from this manufacturer!
